And Your King and Queen for Homecoming 22-23 are...

The seats where the Homecoming King and Queen, as well as their crown bearers, stay during the coronation.

Woodlawn High School held its yearly Homecoming on Saturday, October 8th, 2022, in a very familiar environment - it has not been since the 2019-2020 school year that Homecoming has been held in the school itself. Organized by grade school teacher and official Homecoming sponsor Mrs.Tori England, this year was nothing short of "magical" with a theme of Enchanted Forest.

Coronation started at 7:00 p.m. that evening, with court members and royalty candidates setting on display their dazzling attire. After everyone had taken a bow to members of the crowd and the retiring court, King Chase Slayton and Queen Megan Sweeten, this year's homecoming royalty was announced: Carson Burkett and Kodie VanEycke, both rightfully placed on the throne.

Being nothing short of an amazing night for students and their guests, a dance was held in the new gym after the coronation ceremony, lasting 3 hours between 8:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m.
